Celebrate "gratitude month" and the 100th birthday of the home that Bill and Lois would eventually move into and name Stepping Stones. This two-part program features rare recordings and an interview with Bill W.'s great niece who spent time with the Wilsons at Stepping Stones. As the event begins, you will have a chance to listen to rare recordings presented by Mike Fitzpatrick, author of the book "Dr. Bob and Bill W. Speak: A.A.'s Cofounders Tell Their Stories" and "We Recovered Too: The Family Groups’ Beginnings in the Pioneers’ Own Words,” which are available for purchase when registering. Materials from Stepping Stones Archives will be featured along with recordings of Bill and Lois and members of their circle of friends, which will be introduced by Mr. Fitzpatrick to provide context and history for each audio clip. The event will include a combination of manuscripts, photos and recordings from Stepping Stones Archives and RecoverySpeakers.com. Stepping Stones Executive Director Sally A. Corbett-Turco will perform a first ever interview for a live audience with Bill W.'s great niece, who is one of two living relatives who knew the Wilsons quite well.
